Vlasis, who hails from Minneapolis, started his musical career playing guitar as a teenager. The son of Greek immigrants, Vlasis is an accomplished musician and songwriter. His guitar work is electric even when unplugged. Winding out on his Mossman is special to him as well as playing keyboards, but admits that drumming out is still his favorite pastime. Vlasis has performed in front of thousands of fans all over the country as a solo act as well as the lead guitarist for the art-rock group Blue Canoe and the very popular Native American band, Brule´.

Vlasis loves the energy of a live audience and that joy is very evident when you watch him perform. Vlasis has also enjoyed interacting on a smaller stage as a special guest for several puplic schools, jamming with and inspiring children in special needs classrooms and also for elementary and high school kids.

Vlasis is currently working on his third cd with a scheduled Summer 2009 release along with supporting his most recent release,  White Dog, as well as his first cd, Plain Sight.

In addition to his solo career, as side project, Vlasis played with ONE NATION and released two amazing cds with One Nation:  Arvel Bird and One Nation and One Nation.
